My hands are shaking incredibly, write something, but so far one project is in the process of familiarization, and I have not yet begun to the other planned. Therefore, I decided to try something new and tell you about what I myself recently saw. Namely, we have a new game from BYLINA Russian developers, scheduled for 2025. I would like to discuss with you and support interest in Russian Gamdev
To begin with, the developer claims that their project is not like diabloids, but is more like No Rest for the Wicked or Stories: The Path of Destinies with elements Souls-Like, where we will not be familiar with the view from above to destroy packs of enemies, and fight more with a small number of opponents and various bosses. And all this, of course, with monsters from our Slavic folklore and not only. Then I will give the words of the authors themselves: “In our particular case, we rely on the narrative, aesthetics and era, on the basis of which we create our own universe, inhabited by recognizable characters. We have both historical prototypes and the heroes of epics, and completely fictional characters. The latter, by the way, noticeably more.”

We have no desire for historical reliability (after all, where else did you see armor with eyes?), but we devote a lot of time to the concept and history of each kit that we are working on. We think about how it was created, to whom it belonged and why it has this kind. We prepare the appropriate set of weapons, including a spear, ax, sword and shield, each complete a set of armor.”
So, they sorted out the monsters inhabiting the world, looked at the armor and weapons, but how the locations look like? And here everything is quite diverse with us: we are waiting for forest paths with villages, and different dungeons, and the distant kingdom itself in a frighteningly gloomy bloody atmosphere.
The card itself in the game is a half -open world divided into large locations, between which you can move on a global map. According to the location, the player can move freely, performing plot tasks, side quests, and also participating in random events. Each zone has a big city for relaxation, character and trading. I will also mention a little about the cooperative, or rather about its absence. The developer is aimed at a single plot passage, but so far it does not exclude that playing together, all the same it may be possible.
And my blog, in fact, approaches the end: the matter is done, my soul is reassured (The main thing is that I don’t go). How do you like the project from our guys? Yes, I don’t believe everything blindly on the Internet, we had enough troubles, but this does not mean that now everyone in the district is not trusted. Moreover, I always want to support the domestic manufacturer, especially after the take -off of Atomic Heart . And not because these are our guys (For someone and this is enough), and because such developers bring our culture to games. After all, this Koschey is an immortal, Soviet surroundings of the atomic heart, everything is so close and understandable for some foreign films and cartoons, but on our panels on the street and fairy tales from childhood.
